Sunil James

Sunil is an engineering leader within HPE GreenLake. In this role, he leads a globally distributed team of hardware engineers, software engineers, architects, and UX designers to build trust and security into the foundational platform powering HPE GreenLake.
Previously, he was founder and CEO of Scytale, which he sold to HPE in February 2020. Scytale helped enterprise security and DevOps engineers build identity-driven cloud-native service attestation, authentication, and authorization platforms using CNCF technologies like SPIFFE (https://spiffe.io).
Before Scytale, he invested at Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), where he first met Nadav Zafrir and participated in Team8's founding. Sunil also led product and engineering teams at Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Mandiant, Arbor Networks, and iDEFENSE.
