Ido Engel

Ido leads Microsoft Cloud’s App Innovation solution area for MEA. Ido led Israel’s Cloud (Azure), directing cloud strategy, marketing, and operations. He created Microsoft's 1st Digital Native unit.

Prior to Microsoft, Ido co-founded Wisdo, a D2C mental health startup. As CMO, Ido led the acquisition of 1.5M registered users in paid/viral media. As COO, Ido led funding in Silicon Valley, and the company’s monetization, HR, legal, and finance.

Before founding Wisdo, Ido founded and ran a Cloud assets BU at IBM, out of London. He built Sales, Marketing, Deployment, and Support capacities of Cloud-based IBM tech assets for fortune 500 customers.
He regularly advises on startup business plans and go-to-market strategies.
Ido served as Director of Partner Sales at DigitalFuel (acq. VMware) based in NYC. Before that he had served in R&D and Presales positions.
He led HUJI’s Entrepreneurship program with local VCs.
Ido holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and an MBA, from the Hebrew University. He’s a graduate of the Harvard Executive program.
Ido is a Major(Res.) in the IDF’s Special Intelligence, in collaboration with foreign intelligence bodies.
Ido has 3 amazing children.
