Founded BetterHelp

Founder of BetterHelp, the world’s largest therapy service. BetterHelp has an annual revenue of over $1B, facilitating over 100 million video sessions, voice calls, chats, and messages yearly. We set on a mission to make sure everyone has easy, affordable, and private access to high-quality counseling. Since 2013, over 40,000 licensed, accredited, and board-certified therapists from BetterHelp’s network have helped more than three million people face life’s challenges and improve their mental health.
Before BetterHelp, I led several consumer ventures through their entire life cycles: conceptualizing, planning, fundraising, team building, product design, development, launch, iteration, commercialization, optimization, growth, and eventually, M&A.
My passion is building, deploying, and scaling online services that solve real problems for real people (B2C). I'm mostly excited by useful analytics, simple solutions, rapid execution, and working with people that care.
Over the last decade, I've been focusing my attention (as a founder, executive, investor, board member, or mentor) on mission-driven projects that fall under the category of "doing well by doing good." I believe that whenever financial success is a derivative of bringing positive value directly to people, magic happens.
”In God we trust. All others must bring data.” (W. Edwards Deming)

I'd like to ignite a thoughtful conversation about: Why founders and investors are afraid of B2C
